Peoplemeters have seen changes, the audience ratings for “guests” are already taken into account
It is the name of an article from medialne.sk from the TREND weekly from January 3, 2017. This is the first public information (which you can found today via Google) on the topic of counting guests in TV measurements. It is exactly one month before my article, against which the AMA objected saying it had not voted for a change in methodology. The only long-term executive of PMT refused to comment for either of us. More in the article here.
Do we know any other litigations between the media agencies and the auditor?
Yes, it is number 1 in the market of agency holding companies – WPP plc, back in the time of Martin Sorrell.
Their media agencies in the GroupM have filed a lawsuit against Ebiquity, respectively their daughter FirmDecissions, an audit firm.
More in the article here. Or in the lawsuit itself here. The year was 2016.
In London, however, the representatives of the media agencies and the auditor agreed out of court and no trial took place (more in the article here).
That did not happen in Bratislava. The question remains whether they know about any of this at all at the headquarters of WPP and other agencies.
On October 21, 2021 we continue by questioning witnesses at the District Court Bratislava II.
The plaintiff wants to question then statutory representatives of PMT and AMA, i.e. Vladimir Fatika for PMT, Zuzana Zelenay and Daniel Zivica for AMA.
